I made it! After months of doubts and stress, and an over 20h trip, I've arrived to this side of the world. Romania and the family affairs will wait (until they get their act together maybe!).

But, as I'm learning with some amount of surprise, every city in the world is sort of like Bucharest! Perhaps that crazy city, european with middle eastern accents, was a good place to be born to this planet after all.
Beijing turned out to be the giant-esque more socialist version.
Hyderabad is the tropical one.
Of course there are differences!
The airport, about as rustic as Bucharest's, has water fountains with 'normal' and 'cold' water. Normal feels not much cooler than body temperature. Cold simply reminds you that ... something cooler could exist. As in Bucharest, steam or ice are not essential to quality living; though during the first few days here I thought so.
